Jack wants information on the Viper Mad Boy, it’s a Dual Slalom-stunt bike, its tough, hardwearing and has attitude! He needs to know all the details, handling and equipment used; here is our look at the Mad Boy
Question: hi, i am looking to buy a Viper mad boy. i am just wondering if there were any reviews about it. or if it is a good bike? thank you ,jack.
Jack,
You want to do a bit of dual slalom then? It looks like the Viper Mad Boy should do it, the frame is made from 7005 Alloy and has massive oversized Hydro Formed front triangle and very large oval seat tube and chain stays to keep the frame so stiff and will take a lot of hard riding. Extra gusseting has been added at every possible joint to make this frame (nearly) indestructible. The frame angles and set-up is ideal for slalom and stunts and will handle any tight situation.
The forks are from Suntour, the Duro 100 mm, Shimano supply the chain, gear shifter, front and rear derailleur, cassette and chain set. Tioga seat post, handle bars and tires are obviously some of the best, the brakes are Hayes HMX cable on 8 inch discs and all the other parts are Viper. The 2007 Mad Boy also comes in a 24” wheeled version with Suntour 50 mm travel suspension and all the other goodies.

This is a very well priced, tough dual slalom bike and well worth spending your cash on and if you are not too hard on the bike it might last through a few stunts!
