Benidorm was this year the place where La Vuelta started. Benidorm is perhaps the most famous city as holiday destination in the Costa Blanca and….perhaps Spain.
I live 70 away from the starting ramp in Benidorm and couldn’t miss the biggest event in the Spanish cycling calendar. Last year I couldn’t get pictures due to an accident I had some days before the starting in Sevilla, but you have some snapshots of la vuelta bikes of 2009 here.
You can also read my Non Pro Day in La Vuelta 2011. And see all behind scenes….a must read!
For those who have no idea of what bikes are included in the next gallery, there is just one adjective to be used: and this is ….Top Technology.
It’s unbelievable how bikes have improved within some years, specially on time trial bikes. I know that most of our readers are not on the edge of bikes technology (me included), but it is always nice to see those jewels of carbon.
As you may see, there is a watermark issue on every photo. I have to do it because some images/content of bikecyclingreviews have been copied by other websites without permission, and we don’t want to get in trouble against other sites.
If you like any of these pictures and wanted to get a full size copy (without watermak) I’ll be glad to send you that one to your email address. Just let me know which one and your email address by using our contact form . There are some that look very cool as a desktop background!
Make sure you like BikeCyclingReviews on Facebook, and be updated every time we find really cool and nice tips for your bike from around the world.
