Mike Hall, Yorkshireman, has just broken the world record in the ’round-the-world bike ride competition’. Arriving before one o’ clock, the 31-year old cyclist circled the world in 91 days and 18 hours – he covered 200 miles a day. An enthusiastic crowd at Greenwich Park greeted him – Hall’s mother was also there cheering for her record-holder son.
