Liquigas-Bianchi cycling team
Mario Cipollini maybe getting old, but the “Lion King” will roar again for Liquigas-Bianchi, although not as much as before now that Petacchi wins all the bunch sprints.
Danilo Di Luca can win one-day races and short stage races. Garzelli, Pellizotti and Cioni will want to do something in the Tours and big Magnus Backstedt will want to win Paris-Roubaix again.
Liquigas sells bottled gas in Italy and Bianchi make bikes. The 26 riders have an average age of 29 and 61% are Italian. Obviously as one of the sponsors is Bianchi the team ride Bianchi bikes with Campagnolo components.
