Bike Headlights, So You Can See In The Dark

If your going to cycle at night you need some bike lights, the best bike headlights have a halogen bulb, these are the brightest you can get, but they use up you battery power quickly.
To get round this there are some double headlight sets with a normal bulb in one headlight and a halogen in the other and with a button on your handle bars you can flick from dipped beam to a full beam headlight, these are good enough to make car drivers think you are a motorbike or another car and will give you more room on narrow country roads.
Rechargeable batteries are a must or it will cost you a fortune buying batteries all the time and its always a good idea to carry a spare set in case they run down or fail when your out on your night ride.
Rear lights are a necessity also, as you don't want someone running into the back of you. You can get rear battery lights and there isn't a need for halogen in the rear light as it is red, but more popular these days are LED's, these are tiny little bulbs that give off a very bright light.
Usually you have 5 or 6 in each light and you can have them flash in different sequences, these will catch the eye of any driver and they should keep well out of your way.
Get a good set of bicycle lights and they could save your life, motorbikes now have theirs on during the day for added visibility.
