Enigma Esprit
In an era where most bike constructors compete for the lightest frame and carbon is the dominating material, it is always nice to see someone creating lightweight titanium bikes. Enigma is a small British company located in the south coast of England specialized in creating the best lightweight titanium frames and it is proud to be an alternative to the lightweight carbon frames that abound in the market. Each frame is made from the seamless titanium or from the lightest and strongest grades of steel and each frame is handmade.
Lets just say it and get it out of the way: the Enigma Esprit is one great bike. It is perfect for the professional road racer as well as for the sportive biker who enjoys riding for several hours. It is very comfortable. looks beautiful and, though
it is titanium made, it is light – weighting around 1300g – and stiff. When one looks at the Esprit one one sees that it has a classic level geometry. It has am Esprit EST tubeset and 11’8” non integrated head tube, this adds comfort to the bike and maximizes strength. It is also a very fast bike though it never escapes the rider’s control which makes it possible to do fast turns with all the confidence and security.
