Cofidis Cycling Team
The Cofidis team has been around since 1997 and has been very successful with riders like Frank Vandenbroucke and David Millar, but all went wrong with drug accusations and a withdrawal from racing last year, things should be better now as there has been a clearing out of the old staff and riders.
Stuart O’Grady has been the strong man of the team in the sprints and the one day Classics, the rest of the team will be out to do a ride at the Tour de France, well it is meant to be the best French team, they could do something this season, but probably will underachieve.
Cofidis lends money by phone, the team have 27 riders, 13% are French with an average age of 29, and the bikes are Willier with Campagnolo equipment.
