Xenon is the entry-level group-set from the Campagnolo range. An inexpensive set of a high quality and with a choice of three rear mechanisms, and a choice of a double or a triple chain set in light alloy, along with the solid axle and steel cartridge bottom bracket makes for a strong hard wearing drivetrain.
Ergopower gear/brake levers are made from composite materials, so are light and durable, matched with short, medium or long cage derailleurs, in an anodized finish, make a clean 9 speed gear change every time, the rear Mirage hub has a light alloy freewheel body can take 9 or 10 speed sprocket cassettes, so you can up-grade later.
Xenon also uses Dual-Pivot brakes for powerful and smooth braking. Two front gears are matched to the double or triple chainsets. Also in the group-set are 9 speed Ultra-Drive sprockets and the Record 9 speed chain with Floating Link Action.
