How to Build a Pump Track from Scratch



We’re all use to see videos on the internet about mountain biking downhilling, extreme Red Bull Rampage and things like that. However and back to the basics, have you ever wondered how you can build your own pump truck? Well, this might seem such a weird question, but it’s easier than it seems and I admit that always ask myself how they do it. This is exactly what the guys from the youtube channel Phil Kmetz MTB shows on their video. They go over some general pump track building steps, and as well as talk about some of the pump track building guidelines they use when building a new pump track. Have fun with it!

  • 5 loads of a clay based soil (15-18 cubic yards each)
  • Estimated days to complete : 6
  • Dingo 36 inch wide bucket – rental fee $100/200 per day….$1200 OMG
