The governments and other officials have taken some serious steps to encourage people make use of bicycles instead of other vehicles. They have done a lot in this regard, and the latest effort is made by UB that has offered a rather innovative bike share program to faculty, students, and staff.
Social Bicycles power the bike share program – this will allow students to locate GPS-enabled bikes using their mobile phones and then borrow it to get around the city and campuses. You simply need to find a bike and then use your smart phone to unlock the code – you will have to use the Social Bicycles app on a computer or mobile phone. Read more at the following link.
