Which Pulse Monitor for Jeanette?
Jeanette wants a pulse monitor that has upper and lower limit alarms, these are very useful for interval training and zone training to make the most of your training time. We list a few different models with this function
Question: I am looking for a pulse rate monitor that will set off an alarm if your pulse is too low or too high. What product has this function?
I think you will find that most pulse monitors give you upper and lower limit alarms, you don’t say if you also need bike functions or you are using a separate bike computer. Polar is probably the most well know of all the pulse monitors and you can get bike functions included. Polar make many different models, here is three the Polar F92ti is a very smart titanium wrist watch monitor, then there is he more basic Polar S150TM, still a very watch but a lot less money, what would be the nicest for you, especially if you don’t want bike functions, would be the Polar F4 FEMALE, it has the upper and lower alarms all in a nice wrist watch, check them out on the Polar web site.
Other manufacturers are also very good, the Blackburn Delphi 5.0 wireless heart rate monitor has what you want with many bike functions, Ciclsport make many useful monitors with and without bike functions, the Ciclopuls CP29 HRM is without bike functions, but with many heart rate functions. The Onyx Pro is one of the best offerings from Sigma, with many functions, including what you need.
Polar HRM |
There are many HRM made by these companies, so many I wouldn’t list them here, also consider Timex and Sports Instruments who make a large selection, in our opinion you cant go wrong with Polar, they are tried and tested and they give you what you need.
