What Shoes for VP?

Conrad needs to know which shoes the VP cleat will fit for the road pedals? Just about all shoes will fit those cleats, he needs to take a look at the sole of the shoes and he will find the correct fittings.

Question:

Hi,

Please advise what cycling shoes will work with a VP Alloy Clip in road specific with Cleats?

Thanks.

Hi Conrad,

Most shoes should fit the VP cleats as they are the same fitting as the Shimano SPD’s cleats. There are many shoes on the market and the ones you need have the two slots in the middle, take a look at the sole of the cycling shoes and you will see. Sidi, Vitoria, DMT, North Wave, Specialized and of course Shimano all fit the SPD style cleats.

I have a pair of Sidi Cycling shoes from 1985, the cleats were for Campagnolo pedals with clips and straps, one of the cleats snapped in half so I had to remove them, I now have no cleats, am I able to use these shoes with any other cleats as I am unable to buy replacements. Thanks Ian
