Sci-con Bottle Cage Bag

Jim Swift has obviously been reading our Sci-Con bags review and has taken a liking to the Sci-Con Tubo Bag, we were not sure which bag he wanted, but with a bit more information we have found a solution to his problem of availability

Question: Scicon bottle carrier bag looks just like the item I want but who sells them in the UK?

Thanks for your question; can you be more specific to which bag you are looking at? I have asked Sci-Con and they wondered if it was the item no. BG017, the tubo bag?

Yes, you’re quite right – it is the Tubo Bag I am interested in. I’ve tried to find a retailer in the UK for them but failed. All I can trace is a US mail order company!!

Hi Jim,
After quite a few e-mails between you, Bike Cycling Reviews and the very helpful, Giulia who works in the Export Department at Sci-Con, we now know that you want the Tubo Bag.

This bag fits into the bottle cage on your bike and can handily hold lots of very handy bits and pieces. Two inner tubes, tire levers, a small multi-tool, in fact everything you might need on a ride. The Tubo Bag is made from top quality and hard wearing Cordura, it weighs only 39 grams when empty and has a volume of 500cc, so it’s big and light. If you don’t need two bottles then this is the carrying solution for Jim and anyone else who either doesn’t want an under the saddle bag or already has a large saddle bag for touring and wants their repair equipment more easily accessible, without having to unpack a full saddle bag to get to an inner tube!

Jim wanted to know where he could buy one in the UK, well, Giulia has suggested that the best way for you to get your hands on one of these very useful bags is to go to the Sci-Con e-shop and buy it direct. They have a very efficient postal service and will send it out to you. At only 13.50 Euros it’s very reasonably priced, it also comes in black, blue, red and grey.
