I used before Shimano Ultegra and I love it. However, I got I bike with RIVAL and men!

Now SRAM Rival is much better then ULTEGRA and I really LOVE IT.

I had Rival for more then 1 year and is the best of the best.
Now I want to try SRAM RED. :)

I just got into cycling after 20 years. I shopped around a bit before purchasing anything. Since I had been 'out' for 20 years, even the Shimano tech was new to me. I test rode a couple of bikes, and I liked the way the double tap system works over the Shimano (105/Ultrega) shifters that I tried. Lucky for me, the bike I wanted with SRAM Rival gear went on sale, so I bought it. After 140 miles, I am very happy with my purchase.

I have the Sram Force group including the Compact Crank 50/34T and a cassette 11-26. Wonder if I can upgrade to the cassette to 11-28.

Ok I have used them all Campy (older super record) Shimano Ultegra 105's. I just bought Sram Force on a Specialized carbon bike. This group set is very good and affordable. Unlike shimano, there is no skimping here. This new kid, on road bikes, is every bit as good as the, names we paid a higher mark up for.

My 2008 cannondale six 13 was setup with this group set. I have only ridden for a week now, but i love the double tap. My Giant OCR had 105 groupset which worked very good but again the double tap system to me is much better. Seems to me the Rival has a smoother gear change.
