I just tried out a bike with Sram red today and was a little disapointed. My old bikes dura ace (after 50,000 kms) still shifts better. Sram red deraileur change from small to big ring was sloppy?
Also had issues with sprinting, it is probably just me, but when I am sprinting, and can overshift looking for a higher gear - I dont like how Sram can accidentally go up a gear when you are sprinting in the smallest (highest) tooth cog!

for the money your not getting better than RED. if you want to dish out $3000+ CAD then sure its your choice for Super Record, doesnt make sense, not when you can have a gruppo like RED. @ Bob, if youve never ridden SRAM RED then shut up because you cant compare products from opinion, no one cares what you THINK, tell us what you know about both, you like campy, wonderful, you dont like the doubletap shifting we dont care, if you have something important like why, then enlighten us, otherwise, keep your useless opinions to yourself.

i have ridden all the good groupsets and also the not so good 1ns. pretty much dura ace is the smoothest by shifting and pedaling, campag record 10 and super record and the sharpest in terms of shifting but have been very bad in terms of creaks and off noises after only a few 100 km. sram red had the most punch interms of shifting theres a loud crack from the chain slapping the cassete ,i like it ahah. I work in a bike shop so i can adjust them when ever i need to. Right now after using all of them im running dura ace. it simply just runs the best.

I can not believe how silly you write about the SRAM products. They do not even live up to the lowest quality Campagnolo exception being weight. If you loose a pound of fat you would be sure to be better off with Campy because SRAM will be obsolete and out of business in one or 2 years. I was a semi-pro before most of you were born and trust me, Campagnolo will doing well long after we all go to the big race in the sky!
