Axis TT XT Diamondback. I hate to get rid of the frame as I think it is one of the best ever made. It came stock with the XC-500 Marzocchi that had 50mm of travel. I have tried a 80mm fork and it throws the geometry too far off and handles really slow. Are there any very short travel forks or something out there so I can keep this for smooth trail cross country riding or something. The only other thing I have thought of is to either go rigid single speed with it or sell it off. Any Ideas. I have a ‘95? Axis TT XT Diamondback. However, the suspension fork died and I replaced it with a Chinese-made Ti fixed fork (~$300). This works well for me, even on rocky trails.
