Previously owned an 04 Fondriest Status Carb. Steel main triangle, carbon rear and forks. Really liked that bike (very comfy) but just bought a TF2. Campy Record, Eurus wheels. Tubes are beefy, bike is very stiff, very responsive. Some might call it twitchy but I like it. I'm into more of a classic road bike aesthetic than the TF2 but it's growing on me. Very happy with it so far. Highly recommended if you're in the market. The Fondriest people were very helpful.

Hi George,The only Fondriest frame made in Italy is the TF1 Top Carbon.I ride a Fondriest (04 Top Carbon), and would agree if it has Fondriest's name on it - it is good.Enjoy a nice machine.KB
