Christine wants to look cool off and on the bike with some smart eye wear, so we have been having a good look around and come with some suggestions as to what she should be wearing this summer

Question: I was very interested in your review of the Rudy Project glasses, but I was looking for a pair of sunglasses that I can wear on the bike and more importantly ones that I can wear at the Cafe after the ride. I want that European Continental look. Thanks for your help, Christine.

Hi Christine,
Well we have had a good look at a few different sun glasses and we have come up with three pairs that we think would suit your needs and style requirements.

First we looked at Briko and from there Active Eyewear selection we found the Olivia, very stylish and has eight replaceable lenses, special nose piece and they have a bit of a wrap around style but with an interesting frame design with gaps at the side of the lens. The Olivia is suitable for women and can be used on the bike or for casual wear.

Then we had a look at old faithful, Oakley, and we found the woman’s Flak Jacket, these are the coolest glasses from Oakley for on and off the bike, clear vision, adjustable frame and exchangeable lenses. A good fit for any head size and different nose pads for fit and comfort.

Now for Rudy Project, as you know we did a review of the Ekynox and Rydon glasses, we think these are cool but definitely for the bike, so looking at the girl section we found the Sports mask, these aren’t only for girls there is also the Sport Mask in their Performance Attitude Collection for men also. They come in four different shades and three Special Editions, the Golf and more importantly two Sport Mask Girl Glasses.

We liked the Sport Mask the best as it they are a wrap around design with adjustable nose supports, the lenses are also exchangeable, we also liked them because they don’t have a frame, very stylish one piece lens with the built in nose piece. These you can wear anywhere, on the bike or as you want down at the Cafe, they are cool and classy, Black Gloss, Blue Shade, Demi Turtle or Titanium and the two girl colors; Pearl White and Azur, the White Pearl is a bit too girly, our choice would be the Azur or the Titanium.
