Shimano Flight Deck Bike Computer
John is having problems with his Flight Deck, all bike computers can be a bit “fiddly” to set up, so we will try our best to answer Johns problems as best we can, but it’s not easy with out the computer in your hands.
Throw me a bone here? And why doesn’t the Flight Deck offer a 700×23 pre-programmed setting?

Computers are never easy and not knowing exactly which set up you have makes it a bit more difficult. I guess you have a Shimano Flight Deck, if so, to set the wheel size for a 700 x 23 tire you need to have 2105 in the main display of the tire circumference setting.
As for the rear gear set up, I would think you have the traditional rear derailleur type, for this you will enter 111.
If you are using a mountain bike it could have the rapid rise rear derailleur, it works in the opposite direction to normal gears so you have to enter this into your computer so that I can work out which gear you are using.
