Bicycle Racks in California

Racks in California? Oscar needs to know the legalities of bike racks in his area; possibly we are not the best people to ask on this subject!

Question:
Is it legal to mount a bike rack on either front or back of a car in California?

Hello Oscar,

Sorry I cant help you with your problem, also I don’t know of any racks that fit on the front of vehicles, but would be interest to know if there are any.

May I suggest you as at your local police station about the legalities of racks in your area, it maybe you need a light set on the back or some other legal requirement. If in doubt ask a policeman.
