Look KX Light Carbon Barbot Cycle Team
After riding a Trek frame for many years, our test rider Borja bought a Look KX Light directly from a pro-rider, enrolled into the Barbot cycle team; Division II at UCI Trade Team and never looked back!
Although this look frame had initially around 35000 Km on the clock, its performance has been really amazing so far, said Borja. So, let’s look together with him at the overall behaviour of this road bike, which at one time was riding within a professional cycling team.
Summary
Our rider confessed to be a fan of Trek frames (after riding this American frame manufacturer equipment for so many years as amateur), however he had the chance to buy a Look frame for a good price, and he decided to move his mind and body to the French manufacturer. It was a very good deal.

Performance
The geometry of the frame gave the rider a surprising overall performance, providing more rigidity and stability than expected. It was a bit difficult to control at the beginning, but once you’ve achieved it, the performance is simply incredible. The weight is light enough for climbing, and even better to control when descending. This is a well-balanced bike, very comfortable, that guarantees total manoeuvrability, with a smooth feeling ride.
The Look KX Light offers excellent behaviour in flat conditions. It absorbs all the road vibrations perfectly; your body will not be so fatigued when you finish the ride. It used to be that you feel too tired even when you have not ridden so much. This frame has a big advantage from others by soaking up the road vibrations, its awesome!
Aesthetics
The oversize carbon tubes as well as their diamond shapes make this frame enviable from others. Our test rider liked the line of this bike, which is aesthetically beautiful. The carbon chrome colour used in the Look KX Light gives an aggressive design any one would like to own.
